Sophisticated atmosphere with authentic Italian drinks and food. The "Beautiful Salad" was so fresh and delicious and balanced out the richness of my entree, Cacio e Pepe. My husband had the spicy Caesar salad with the pork and veal bolognese rigatoni. Our meals were perfection.

I’ve lived in Charleston for about a year and can’t believe this was my first time here! We tried the Wood-fired sweet peppers, Straccitella & olive-oil bruschetta, Tuna Crudo, Prosciutto & Burrata, Bucatini ‘Cacio De Pepe’, Paccheri, Stretch Armstrong Pizza, and the Mr. Wally Pizza. Everything was incredible even down to our martinis. Would highly recommend putting this at the top of your Charleston list.

Amazing food and staff here. The homemade pastas are exceptional. The ragu duck pasta and the grilled Branzino was our choice. Definitely coming back.

The food was simply outstanding. Each dish was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was exceptional. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauces were rich and delicious. The pizza was absolutely exceptional! The wine selection was impressive and complemented our meal perfectly. The service was top-notch,( we recommend bar top seating) with attentive and knowledgeable staff who made excellent recommendations. They truly enhanced our dining experience. Overall Melfi's is a place where you can savor the flavors of Italy right here in Charleston. We highly recommend Melfi's to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious Italian dining experience.

My biggest regret about eating at Melfi’s was that I didn’t come in sooner. My husband and I were blown away by the food. The atmosphere was vibrant and upscale...Perfect for a date night or special occasion. The spicy ceasar was hands down the best ceasar salad we’ve had. The arancini was delicious, dirty martini well balanced, but the pasta was the star of the show. We got the bolognese and bucatini and couldn’t pick a favorite. My husband was ready to come back the next day. Thank you, Melfi’s!

One of the best meals and dining experiences in Charleston! Highly recommend starting with their signature spicy caesar salad (arguably the best item on their menu) and you can’t go wrong with any of the pastas! I’ve had the Mafalde pasta twice now and it’s delicious. Make sure you get a reservation ahead of time to guarantee a table. Definitely will be back again for a third time soon!

For the main event, the Mafalde Pasta took center stage. The handmade noodles were cooked to al dente perfection, their ruffled edges capturing every bit of the perfectly balanced sauce. Each bite was a symphony of texture and taste, showcasing the care and craftsmanship behind the dish. No Italian meal is complete without dessert, and Melfi’s Tiramisu was a triumph. Took my wife here for her birthday dinner; we had reservations at the bar. A note awaited our arrival in honor of her birthday along with a champagne toast. Nate and Bryce were fantastic. Nate is a true artisan with cocktails. Service was paced perfectly. We started with the Suppli, my wife had the Osso Bucco, which was decadent, and I had the Diavola pizza for our entrees. The espresso martini served as our desserts. The ambiance was delightful. Great experience and look forward to the next time—cheers and Bon Appetit!
